Mingletiles was born from a love of Mahjong, family, and connection.

What began as a personal passion has grown into a family-run business dedicated to creating unique Mahjong products and building a welcoming, vibrant Mahjong community. At the heart of Mingletiles is Vanessa, whose love for Mahjong was inspired by a family member and quickly turned into something more. As she learned and played, she saw how powerful the game could be in bringing people together — and she set out to help grow that experience locally and beyond.

Vanessa leads the community side of Mingletiles. She teaches Mahjong lessons, organizes group open-play nights, and works to connect players with teachers and fellow enthusiasts. She also manages the day-to-day operations of the business, including social media, customer service, orders, and marketing — making sure every interaction reflects the welcoming spirit of the game.

Behind the scenes, Nick brings Mingletiles to life through design and manufacturing. From concept to finished product, he designs and produces the Mahjong pieces and accessories that make Mingletiles unique. His focus on thoughtful design and quality craftsmanship ensures that every item is made to be both functional and beautiful.

This truly is a family effort. Our kids lend a hand with packaging and even contribute ideas to the design process, making Mingletiles something we build together.

We started Mingletiles with two simple goals:
