Learn to play American Mahjong with Vanessa.
Mahjong 101
Mahjong 101 is perfect for anyone who’s never played American Mah Jongg. We’ll start with tile recognition and then learn how to read the National Mah Jongg League card. In 3 hours, we’ll cover the essential rules of the game. We’ll identify East, build walls, use the Charleston, and have winners! You’ll receive lots of guidance during your game play. In addition to NMJL rules, I’ll also teach you the House Rules about blanks.
Mahjong isn’t something you learn in one sitting — it’s a game that you learn more as you practice and play. However, when you leave your lesson, you’ll be ready to sit down at the table and start to play with a great foundation.
